Khloe Kardashian is getting some work done.

The 28-year-old reality star has announced she is getting Invisalign braces to straighten her teeth, according to RadarOnline.com.

“Thank you @drkevinsands for being the best dentist ever! If only we could all be put to sleep like Lamar LOL maybe next time :)” Kardashian tweeted about visiting her family dentist, Dr. Kevin Sand’s office.

Sands has boasted about Kardashian’s decision to go straight.

“She happens to have one of the most beautiful smiles I’ve ever seen,” Sands said. “But she’s a perfectionist and so am I, so it was just something we knew we could do. We’ll take her from a 9.5 to a 12!”

The dentist tweeted a photo with the reality star after her visit on May 10.

Kardashian is one of many celebrities who have decided to get braces. Justin Bieber and Katherine Heigl got clear aligners to straighten their teeth.

Braces like Invisalign "are custom-made trays for the teeth, which apply pressure from the shape," Dr. John Buzzatto, an orthodontist and the current president of the American Association of Orthodontists told Fox News. A patient uses a series of aligners over a given period of time that pushes teeth into shape.

“How many aligners would be necessary would depend on how badly the teeth are crooked," Buzzatto said.

Khloe Kardashian’s braces is part of a series of body transformations the star has undergone.

Recently, Khloe Kardashian reportedly lost 25 pounds and has donned magazine covers to show off her new look.

Since the X Factor and filming for Kourtney & Kim Take Miami ended, Kardashian says she has had extra time to work out, according to HollywoodLife.com

“Khloé looks her best to date,” her trainer Gunnar Peterson said, “and I’m sure she’ll be even better as time goes on.”
