Khloé Kardashian Slammed For 'Love Thy Racist Neighbor' Post
What seemed like a post about spreading love has landed Khloé Kardashian into trouble. The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star recently shared a post online about community harmony, but the picture included the quote “love thy racist neighbor,” which has led to some anger among her fans.
Kardashian has been messages about love and inspiration on social media ever since rumors about her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson's affair first surfaced. Her recent post was about loving one’s neighbor, no matter who they are, BuzzFeed reported.
The social media post identified a range of groups that should be shown love despite preconceived notions and prejudice that people may have about them. The groups the post identified included the homeless, Muslims, gays, black people, white people, Jewish, Christian, atheist and people suffering addiction. However, the inclusion of racist neighbors in this post led to some angry responses from Kardashian’s followers.
Some of her followers, however, understood that Kardashian has been going through a difficult time. She broke up with Thompson after rumors about him making out with family friend Jordyn Woods surfaced online. The reality star has said that she planned to count her blessings and move on with her life after breaking up with her boyfriend.
In order to move on from Thompson, Kardashian channeled her energy into fitness, People reported. She also did some retail therapy by going shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills. The reality TV star has also been working and focusing on her career.
Another thing that Kardashian has going for her is the enormous support she got from her friends and family, especially her sisters. Her friends recently confirmed that she is doing “good” after the breakup. She has also been spending a lot of time with her daughter, True.
