KEY POINTS

- Twitter users speculated that her tweet was her reaction to Kyle Rittenhouse's acquittal
- A number of netizens slammed her for keeping mum about the Astroworld tragedy
Khloe Kardashian received another round of backlash from the netizens over her recent tweet.
The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star tweeted a vague message Saturday — a day after Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted of five charges for fatally shooting two people and wounding a third during a protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin last summer. She didn't mention Rittenhouse, but the netizens believed her post was a reaction to the jury's decision in the case.
"Speechless and disgusted!!" she tweeted.
Several netizens reacted to Kardashian's tweet, especially because she has been mum on the Astroworld tragedy, which involved her sister Kylie Jenner's boyfriend, Travis Scott, and left 10 people dead. One even mocked her by asking if her tweet was about Tristan Thompson cheating again, since the reality star and the NBA player have remained amicable following their split.
"What are u referring to? The innocent lives that were lost at Travis’s concert, or….????" one asked.
"There are people that died in Travis Scott's concert. We’re not gonna forget about them. Sorry!!" a different netizen stated.
"About Astroworld? So are we!" a third user added.
"Tristan cheated again?" a fourth user asked.
Meanwhile, many also defended Kardashian. For them, the Astroworld tragedy has nothing to do with her, so she doesn't need to speak about it.
"How is anything that happened that night have to do with Khloe?" one asked.
"Why would you even say that to her. They are still investigating. No one knows what exactly happened and who is responsible, so stop the hate and just be a nice human being. We have enough hate going around," a second user added, addressing Kardashian's bashers.
"There are some evil people on this post. Wow! Let her share her feelings without being attacked!" a third user wrote.
Kardashian was also slammed earlier this month after sharing some of her sexy photos just days after the Astroworld tragedy. Many felt that she was being "tone-deaf" by doing so, especially since she never made any statement acknowledging the incident.
"Little too soon to be posting pics of yourself without even acknowledging the mass tragedy," one commented on her Instagram post.
"Tone-deaf. Shame on you [for real]," another added.
