Khloé Kardashian, Tristan Thompson Expecting 2nd Baby Via Surrogate After Paternity Scandal

Khloé Kardashian is expecting her second child with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson via surrogate.

A rep for Kardashian, who shares 4-year-old daughter True with Thompson, confirmed the news via a statement to Page Six.

"We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November. Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing," her rep said. "We'd like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloé can focus on her family."

Kardashian and Thompson called it quits back in June 2021. The NBA star had been trying to reconcile with the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum when news broke in December last year that Thompson was being sued for child support by Maralee Nichols, who said she became pregnant with his child around March 2021, when he and Kardashian were still together.

In January, a paternity test showed that Thompson, who also shares 5-year-old son Prince with ex Jordan Craig, is the father of Nichols' now-6-month-old son Theo.

But though they're expecting another child together, Kardashian and Thompson have not gotten back together and have not spoken since December 2021 outside co-parenting matters, an unnamed source told Page Six.

Their second baby was conceived via surrogate before the paternity scandal, according to the outlet's sources.

"Khloé and Tristan already had the baby in the works when the scandal hit. By then, Khloé was just like, 'I'm going to be doing it by myself,'" a second unnamed insider said.

The "Revenge Body" star has been talking to friends about having the baby since before Christmas, another source claimed.

The baby's birth is "imminent," TMZ reported. But one unnamed source told the outlet that the child may have been born in the last day or two.

The Good American founder and the athlete were last seen together last month when they watched the dance recital of their daughter True and Rob Kardashian's daughter Dream.

The former couple enjoyed lunch in Calabasas, California, with True, Dream, Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian's youngest kids Chicago and Psalm following the dance recital.

Thompson was pictured putting his arm around his ex during the outing.

According to reports, Kardashian has moved on from Thompson and is now dating a private equity investor she met through Kim at a dinner party a few weeks ago

"Khloé has moved on and is happy in her new relationship, which is still in its early stages," an unnamed source told Us Weekly. "Tristan would want nothing more than to be back with Khloé, so of course, there's jealousy there."
