Khloe Kardashian is looking forward to the New Year. For 2014 she wants to keep a positive attitude and a “start fresh.”

The 29-year-old recently filed for divorce from her husband of four years, Lamar Odom, after she faced months of public scrutiny for his alleged infidelities and drug use. No doubt, the youngest Kardashian sister said to Cosmopolitan in its February 2014 issue that she’s “excited” for this year to end.

"I love the new year, new beginnings," the reality star said to the magazine, as quoted by E! Online. "I need a good fresh start; I'm excited for this year to be over with … You only live once so let's make that one time perfect. We can't fix our mistakes and imperfections, so let's have fun. You get what you give out in life."

Since she recently lost 30 pounds, the starlet is looking forward to showing off her newly svelte physique. "I've worked very hard on my body so I think now I can sex it up a little!" she dished. "My 2014 mission is to wear a crop top with jeans. I've never done that so it has to happen one day."

Even though Kardashian has had a rough year, the brunette bombshell doesn’t have any regrets about the choices she has made. She essentially said that no matter what happens in life, whether it is good or bad, those are all the things that shape a person.

"My life has made me who I am at this moment and I'm very happy with who I am," the fashionista said. "No matter if it's great, disgusting, beautiful or ugly; it happens and it makes you you. Life is about how you process things."

Here’s a little fact people might not know: Kardashian dished that she chose not to go through with a nose job, despite encouragement from her makeup artists and “momager” Kris Jenner.

"Words are the most powerful weapon; they can leave scars forever," Kardashian said to Cosmopolitan. "She didn't mean harm, but when I was around nine I overheard my mom telling her friend I needed a nose job. I was shocked; I hadn't even thought about it. I've grown into my face but I've had makeup artists tell me, ‘You should get a nose job.' I'm so happy that I never have."
