Who doesn’t like bacon? Everybody likes meat, right? Wrong!
Avid fans of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” and/or the Kar-Jen clan will surely know that Khloe Kardashian once revealed that she was not a fan of eating meat. It is a known fact that Kardashian has always been watchful of her wellness.
The “Revenge Body” host has never shied away from telling truth about her weight struggles, Yahoo News reported. Maintaining her physique is important but for her choosing to give up 10 pounds instead of eating meat —that is something. Back in 2017, Kardashian chose to gain 10 pounds rather than eat meat during the game “Would You Rather,” US Weekly reported.
So what’s up with Kardashian and meat?
It’s not that they’re enemies. In fact, before the “KUWTK” star’s pregnancy with True, she reportedly used to eat chicken and turkey, crossing out pork, red meat, lamb and most fishes in her list. This information was revealed in Kardashian’s blog post, which is only exclusive for the subscribers of Khloe Kardashian Official App, Live Kindly reported.
It was further stated in Kardashian’s blog that seeing meat makes her nauseous and because of that, during her pregnancy, she became vegetarian after finding meat disgusting. Back then, Kardashian claimed that it wasn’t by choice and was also eager to find out whether her food preference would change after she gave birth.
Two months after giving birth to her firstborn, Kardashian reportedly decided to get back in shape. She knew that one of the biggest contributing factor to the success of this endeavor is her diet and nutrition. Dr. Philip Goglia gave her an eating regimen to follow. It was called “exact low-carb meal plan,” the Insider reported.
Apparently, one recommendation of Dr. Goglia was for Kardashian to ensure proper protein intake. Notably, the “KUWTK” star reportedly wrote on her blog that she was recommended to eat a piece of grilled chicken breast (4 oz.) along with yam or half cup of rice, veggies and salad.
Potatoes, oatmeal, oat flakes, quinoa and lentils were reportedly included in her meal plan. Kardashian also eats fruits, nuts and vegetables for her snacks. Kardashian reportedly eats 7 times in a day. However, among the food that were stated in her diet plan, there was no mention of any pork or red meat.
Kardashian did not only change her diet to get into shape. She had a complete change in her lifestyle and the result? Her now-sexy-adored-by-many body.
The “KUWTK” star’s fitness journey was not easy and whether she eats pork and red meat or not, it’s a decision all must respect. The most important thing is, she’s happy where she’s at right this moment.
