Kim Kardashian Celebrates Her Late Father's Birthday Amid Divorce With Kanye West

Kim Kardashian took to Instagram Monday to share an emotional note for her late father, Robert Kardashian, who would have turned 77 this year.

This is the first post that she has shared on Instagram after filing for a divorce with Kanye West.

The renowned television personality shared a throwback picture featuring herself, Robert, Rob Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Kourtney Kardashian.

"I celebrate you every single day but today even more," she said in the emotional caption. "So much to tell you! I called your cell phone number just wondering if anyone would pick up after all these years. I actually can’t believe I remembered it."

"Please come visit me in a dream soon. Also can you pretty please send down a sign in the form of those symbols/birds we always talked about?!?! I just miss you sooooo much!" she added.

Apart from her touching post shared on the Instagram feed, the "KKW Beauty" owner also shared a series of videos and photos on her Instagram Story.

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star wrote "Happy Birthday daddy! God you would be soooo old LOL" on a video featuring Robert at a golf course. She also shared a picture of her dad with her two half-sisters, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner.

Khloé, 36, also took to Instagram to share the same golf video of her father and wrote that she misses her every single day.

"EVERYONE here misses you! I know you’re in a better place but it never gets easier," she said.

Khloé also shared a bunch of pictures and videos featuring Robert on her Instagram Story including the hologram footage. The hologram was a gift to Kim from husband Kanye West on her 40th birthday in October.

"It's a long and hard road but it's worth it and I'm with you every step of the way," Robert, who died in 2003 said in the hologram video.

Kim and West, who have reportedly been living apart for months now are getting a divorce after almost seven years of marriage. Amid the ongoing speculation about the couple's marital status, Kim, on Feb. 19, officially filed for divorce, according to People.

The 40-year-old reality TV star and the 43-year-old rapper have four children together, North West, 7, Psalm West, 1, Chicago West, 3, Saint West, 5.
