Kim Kardashian Honors Janet Jackson On Her Birthday; Buys 'If' Outfit For $25K

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian celebrated singer Janet Jackson's 55th birthday on Sunday and purchased the pop icon's "If" music video outfit for $25K.

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star shared an Instagram Story to wish Jackson and wrote "Happy birthday queen!" along with a clip from the "If" music video.

In another Instagram Story, she added a screenshot from the music video in which Jackson donned a beautiful silver and black outfit and wrote, "For @janetjackson's bday bc I'm such a fan I can't believe I won this on juliens_auctions."

The "That's the Way Love Goes" star responded to Kardashian and wrote, "Thank u so much @kimkardashian! I hope 'IF' gives u as much pleasure as it did me."

Julien's Auctions announced on its official Twitter handle Saturday that the custom-made top has been sold for $25,000.

"A custom-made top with a pair of black pants, both worn by Janet Jackson in her 1993 award-winning "If" music video. Sold in our "Iconic Treasures from the Legendary Career and Life of Janet Jackson," the company said.

One of the fans commented that "this outfit is iconic for sure." Another person wrote, "It's a very lucky person that bought that."

The auction, titled "Iconic Treasures From the Legendary Career and Life of Janet Jackson," was held for three days to commemorate Jackson's birthday.

Jackson announced the auction on May 7. "I've partnered with @JuliensAuctions to sell over 1000 items from my career & personal treasures. A portion of the proceeds will go to @compassion International," she tweeted at the time.

Besides this, the mother of four also received some priceless gifts from her kids on Mother's Day last week. She shared a series of videos on Instagram featuring handmade perfume bottles. "My kids are so thoughtful, they made me my own perfume, each of them because they know I love perfume," she said in one of the videos.
