Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Spending On Beyoncé Wedding Performance Revealed In New Report
It's no surprise that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will be spending lavishly on their May 24 wedding, but the extent of their extravagance is still astounding. The couple, who are planning to get married in Italy at Fort Belvedere in Florence, are allegedly spending over $7 million on their ceremony.
Not that they can't afford it - West’s net worth is estimated at $100 million, while his fiancée is worth about $40 million. So what will they be spending so much money on?
For entertainment, Beyoncé, Jay Z, and Lana del Rey are all expected to perform. Beyoncé and Jay Z reportedly are asking for $2 million for a performance.
The wedding couple plans to give each of their guests a mobile phone when they arrive in Paris to keep wedding details a secret, reports Page Six. In addition, guests will have brunch at Valentino Garavani’s chateau, in addition to a private tour of the Palace of Versailles. On the day of the wedding, guests will be flown via private jet to Italy for the ceremony. Elisa Di Lupo, a rep for the mayor of Florence, revealed the couple rented Fort Belvedere for over $420,000.
Adding to the wedding expenses is Kardashian’s wedding gown, of course. “She has called on Sarah Burton to design one of her options. Kim wants the low-cut V-neck look that Kate had, but much lower, and she wants her gown to be tight fitting to show off her svelte figure,” a source tells Radar Online.
“Her gown is estimated to cost $2 million. And no one will see the gown until she walks down the aisle. There are three gowns that were made just for her and she hasn’t even decided yet between them.” On Wednesday, several Valentino suit carriers were delivered to Kardashian and West's hotel, sparking rumors that Kardashian may wear the high-end designer over the next few days.
In addition, chefs are reportedly being flown in from around the world to prepare dinner for the rehearsal night and the reception dinner, which will take place after the wedding. Additional costs include a firework show, security, decorations and drinks.
“Guests at the wedding will be treated to $6,000 bottles of champagne and a spectacular $200,000 fireworks show at the end of the night,” the source added. “High-end and extensive security is costing $3 million, flowers are $1 million and food is about $2,000 a plate.”
