  • Kardashian and West maintain an "amazing co-parenting relationship"

They are always putting their family first despite the divorce. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had a short but sweet reunion as they took their kids on a trip to an art museum over the weekend.

The "Keeping Up with The Kardashians" star and the rapper, along with their kids — North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm — visited the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco for the new "TeamLab: Continuity Exhibition."

The exhibition is "an immersive digital experience in which movement-sensitive artworks fill entire galleries and are hyper-responsive to human activity, transforming visitors into participants," according to a press release, E! News reported.

The estranged celebrity couple maintained a "low key" presence inside the museum. The kids' security guards were also present.

The celebrity visitors wore an all-black ensemble and looked like a "normal family that was relaxing and having a good time," ET reported.

"Kim, Kanye and their kids arrived for a private early viewing, but they enjoyed themselves so much they stuck around after the museum opened their doors and mingled with the public for almost an hour. No one bothered them or seemed to really notice them. It was a genuine, sweet moment for the family where they were able to relax in a public setting without being disrupted," a source told ET News.

They reportedly were very excited but were courteous to everyone they met.

"They were excited to be there, and everyone seemed to be getting along great between Kim and Kanye. They were there for the kids as the museum is a very family friendly environment, and this specific exhibit brings out the childlike wonder in us all. By all accounts they were gracious, appreciative, and had a great time!," the source added.

After tying the knot in 2012, Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February citing "irreconcilable differences."

Even so, Kardashian and West have an "amazing co-parenting" relationship." The socialite even gave West a loving birthday tribute when the Grammy winner turned 44 last month.

"You know, that was my friend first — first and foremost — for a long time. So, I can't see that going away. I will forever be Kanye's biggest fan. He's the father of my kids. Kanye will always be family," Kardashian told E! News earlier.
