When it comes to the secret of a top-selling Vogue magazine cover, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West just may have all the answers.

Though their surprise cover for the magazine’s April issue sparked quite the controversy, the talk surrounding Kimye's latest accomplishment is apparently pushing the issue to at least 300,000 in sales, says The New York Post. According to the Post, media insiders are predicting that the edition is on target to sell 300,000 to 400,000 copies.

These numbers are in line with Vogue covers featuring major style and culture figures like Beyoncé and first lady Michelle Obama. But when asked, a Vogue rep said they “never comment on sales figures.”

The cover received a great deal of backlash when it was first revealed, with many celebrities, pop culture followers and Vogue readers expressing their displeasure that the publicity-hungry pair was chosen for the coveted spot. But as that initial reaction has slowly quieted down, it appears Mr. West and his soon-to-be-wife will have the perfect segue into their May wedding – one of the best-selling and most-talked-magazine covers of the year.
