Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Wedding Photos: Wedding Dress And First Pictures As Married Couple
The first official photos of Kim Kardashian’s wedding to Kanye West have been released, three days after the two celebrities made their union official. The star couple said “I do” in front of 600 guests in Italy at the Forte di Belvedere, a 16th-century-era fortress.
E!, which produces Kardashian's reality television show “Keeping up with the Kardashians,” has exclusive shots of her dress, an haute couture Givenchy bridal gown. In one picture, Kardashian and West are kissing, likely right after they each said “I do” in front of friends and family. The setting is in front of a large wall of white roses, which is similar to the gift West got Kardashian for Mother’s Day.
Another picture shows the two walking down the aisle after getting married, as guests look on and clap. In the background, Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner, holds her granddaughter, North. Bruce Jenner also looks on in the photo, and after rumors about him not attending the wedding at all, it turns out he walked Kardashian down the aisle, reportedly as Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli sang “Ave Maria.” Bocelli serenaded the couple with several other songs, including “Con te Partiro.” In another picture, the newlyweds wore biker jackets that fittingly read, “Just Married.”
While Kardashian wore a Givenchy lace gown and long silk veil during the ceremony, West wore a fitted custom Givenchy tuxedo. During the reception, the fashionable duo was serenaded by singer John Legend, who sang “All of Me” for their first dance as newlyweds.
While fans initially hoped the wedding would air on TV for Kardashian's reality show, the 33-year-old confirmed that the special day would only be revealed to the public in pictures.
In October, the couple got engaged, after dating for a little more than a year. Kardashian was more than happy to say “yes,” and she later told E! News, “Last night was truly magical!!! I am the luckiest girl in the world! I get to marry my best friend!"
