Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner Offered Kylie Jenner Guidance With Pregnancy Decision: Report

Kylie Jenner may have been caught off guard by her pregnancy but that doesn’t mean the “Life of Kylie” star had any doubts when it came to keeping her baby with boyfriend Travis Scott.

A source told Us Weekly that the 20-year-old reached out to her mother, Kris Jenner, and one of her sisters, Kim Kardashian West, when she first learned she was pregnant. “Kylie was leaning on Kim and Kris,” the insider revealed.

The source explained that Kris and Kim “talked through her decision-making process regarding moving forward with this pregnancy, having the baby and what she’s going to do.”

Kylie has plenty of experience caring for children thanks to her three nieces and three nephews, but it was important for her family to inform her that being someone’s mother is completely different than babysitting.

“Spending time with other people’s kids is obviously completely different than being a mom 24/7. Kylie, of course, has no idea about all the hard work and sleepless nights,” a source told People.

Kim and Kris’ goal was to make Kylie realize the work that goes into raising a child. “They all wanted Kylie to make the decision for herself and to understand this is what it looks like, this is how your life will change, and Kylie gets that,” an insider explained to Us Weekly.

Although it was reported that many members of the famous family believe “Kylie is too young to have a baby,” Kris plans on standing behind her daughter. “Kris is so supportive and she knew this was a Kylie decision,” an insider revealed.

Another factor that helped the Kylie Cosmetics owner make the decision to follow through with her speculated pregnancy was her “incredible support system.”

“Kylie’s take is that for everyone in her family, children have only made their lives better,” another source revealed.

Kylie, who turned 20 years old in August, is said to be about four months along in her pregnancy and expecting a girl. “It is an unexpected but completely amazing turn of events that she could not be more excited or thrilled about,” a source told People.

Although many didn’t expect Kylie to get pregnant so soon after getting in a relationship with Scott in April, the star has previously hinted that she planned on having kids in her 20s. “I feel like 30 is too late [to have kids],” she said during a 2016 episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”

During an appearance on her sister Khloe Kardashian’s show, “Kocktails With Khloe,” Kylie once again confirmed she was not interested in waiting to have children. “I want kids for sure and I feel like seeing [my sisters] go through [motherhood], it’s great knowledge. I feel like I want kids before I’m 30,” she said.

Kylie is reportedly “so happy” about the baby and her rapper boyfriend is said to share the same sentiment. “He’s been so affectionate and protective of Kylie since they found out. He can’t wait to be a dad,” an insider told People.

Travis and Kylie began dating following the reality star’s split from longtime boyfriend Tyga. This will be the first child for both stars. The couple has yet to publicly confirm the pregnancy.
