Kim Kardashian Never Had An Affair With Sister Kourtney's Boyfriend Travis Barker: Report

Kim Kardashian never had a relationship with Travis Barker, contrary to what his ex-wife Shanna Moakler claimed, according to a report.

Kim's sister, Kourtney Kardashian, is currently dating Barker. However, in a message Moakler allegedly sent to her and Barker's daughter, Alabama, 15, she mentioned that Barker had an affair with Kim that led to their split. An insider spoke with Page Six and denied the alleged affair.

"Travis and Kim have never had a romantic relationship," a source close to Kim told Page Six. "They were friends who met through Paris Hilton and that is also how Kourtney and Travis were introduced."

Another source also slammed Moakler for dragging Kim into the situation. The second source said the former Playmate was "spreading lies."

"It’s a shame that she continues to spread lies because she is clearly bitter her ex is happy and has moved on," the second source said. "It’s extremely hurtful to her kids how she is behaving. Hopefully, she gets the help that she needs and can eventually find happiness."

Meanwhile, the Blink-182 drummer admitted in a 2015 interview with Us Weekly that he found Kim attractive. He said he met Kim through their common friend, Hilton.

"How could you not stare at Kim?" the rocker said. "Mind you, I enjoyed hanging out with Paris, but I love curvy girls. I was no way disrespectful to Paris, but I couldn’t keep my eyes off Kim."

The rumors about Kim and Barker's affair spread when Alabama shared a screenshot of a direct message purportedly sent to her by her mom, Moakler, in an Instagram Story to blast the latter. In the lengthy message, Moakler said she divorced her dad because he had an affair with the KKW Beauty founder.

"I divorced Travis because I caught him having an affair with Kim! Now he's in love with her sister..it's all gross..." Moakler wrote. "I'm not the bad guy!"

In the message, Moakler praised her boyfriend, Matthew Rondeau, for being her "rock" and for changing her life. Meanwhile, she blasted Barker for allegedly being "emotionally abusive."

"I left Travis because he was emotionally abusive, I left the money snd [sic] mansions for a reason... family is all that matters but I can't compete with kids whose father doesn't encourage relationships with their own mother and purposely tries to alienate them away..." she wrote.

In the message, Moakler also stated that her ex-husband controls their daughter's social media account, but she got blamed for her sexualization. However, Alabama said her mother was "never completely" in her life and was not an "amazing mom."

Moakler and Barker got married in 2004. They separated in 2006 and finalized their divorce in 2008. Aside from sharing Alabama, they also have a 17-year-old son named Landon.
