Kim Kardashian Says She Did Everything To Walk Away From Kanye West 'Absolutely Guilt-Free'
Kim Kardashian has given fans more insight into her marriage with Kanye West. In “The Kardashians” season finale, the beauty mogul discussed the split with her sister Khloe Kardashian while the latter was still reeling from Tristan Thompson’s paternity scandal.
During their conversation, Kim told Khloe about the time she was dealing with her failed marriage, saying no one in the family came to her because they did not want to meddle.
“I respect that no one came to me during my marriage and was like, ‘Are you good?’ Everyone let me have my own journey and see that on my own, and I appreciate that, but sometimes I look back and I’m like, ‘When do we jump in?,’” she said, as per ET Online.
Khloe told Kim that while it was too late for her family to intervene, she wished they had talked to her about her concerns with Tristan sooner. She also told her sister it wasn’t the first time Thompson had committed a mistake in their relationship.
Kim tried to comfort Khloe by telling her that if people only knew what her relationship with West was really like, they would have asked how their marriage lasted as long as it did. However, the mother of four added she had no regrets because she did everything she could to make their marriage work.
“I can live with myself knowing that I tried everything humanly possible to make a situation work, and so I could walk away absolutely guilt-free,” she said. “I feel like you can at least say, you had a family, you tried, everything in your might. You can look your daughter in the face and say that,” she added.
Kim continued talking about the situation in a confessional, giving a stern warning to “f***ing trolls” who make Khloe “feel like the biggest piece of ‘s*it.’”
“It’s so wrong, because you guys don’t understand that when you have a child, you’ll do anything to try and make it work. When the whole world is looking at you, laughing at you, calling you every name in the book, do you know how hard that is? It’s 10 times harder to stay in a situation than it is to leave,” she said.
Kim filed for divorce from West in February 2021 after seven years of marriage. They share four children—North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.
