Kim Kardashian Says She 'Just Might' Eat Poop If It Helps Her 'Look Younger'
Kim Kardashian would go to any length to retain her youth. She would eat poop if it would help her look younger, the reality TV star admitted in an interview with The New York Times, per Page Six.
“If you told me that I literally had to eat poop every single day and I would look younger, I might. I just might,” she joked.
After the Skims founder made that statement, it didn't take long for trolls to react to her comments via social media. “Why do I feel this means she already has,” wondered one Instagram user, with another commenting, “How much poop is the question.”
The article coincided with the announcement of the Skims founder’s forthcoming skincare line, "Skkn by Kim," so naturally, after her statement, people were worried about what exactly goes into the products, with yet another user commenting, “Is poop the active ingredient in SKKN???”
However, the nine-product set – which Kardashian “developed from start to finish” – does not include any fecal matter. The line that comes in sleek, refillable bottles, in her signature neutral hue, contains a cleanser, a toner, an exfoliator, a hyaluronic acid serum, a vitamin C serum, a face cream, an eye cream, oil drops, and night oil.
While the 41-year-old acknowledged that her multi-step skin-care regime “might seem scary to some,” she believes the products are “all necessary.”
“So many people want to act like they don’t care about how they look. I’m not acting like it comes easier or it’s all-natural. You just don’t wake up and use whatever. You wake up, you use ingredients. The P.R.P. facials, stem cell facials, lasers – all of that is work,” she explained to The Times.
Her line is priced at a whopping $630, but she defended the price range by saying, “The products I was using that were comparable were way more expensive, not to compare anything. I tried to get the quality for the best price that we could, especially the vitamin C serum.”
But, given that the products are refillable, the replacement pods cost about 15 percent less than the original packaging.
"Skkn by Kim" will be released later this month, per Vogue.
