Kim Kardashian Shares Cryptic Post As Ex Pete Davidson Moves On With Emily Ratajkowski: Report

Kim Kardashian shared a cryptic post on social media after her ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson spent his birthday with Emily Ratajkowski.

The "Kardashians" star posted a quote from Idil Ahmed via Instagram Stories Friday. The message was about seeing "the bigger picture" during tough times.

"One thing I realized is that everything always ends up working out," the post read, according to a screenshot obtained by Page Six. "Sometimes even better than you can imagine.

The quote continued, "Remember this when you feel like you're in a hard place or you feel like you're being challenged the most. Believe in where you're headed. See the bigger picture."

The Skims founder and the "Saturday Night Live" alum dated for nine months before they called it quits in August.

Three months after their split, news broke this week that Davidson has moved on and is now seeing Ratajkowski.

The 29-year-old comedian celebrated his birthday with the model Wednesday. He drove to pick her up at her apartment in New York City but left alone after Ratajkowski appeared and paparazzi swarmed them, Page Six reported.

Ratajkowski left her place via an Uber while holding a gift for the birthday boy. They met at a residential building in Brooklyn. She and Davidson were photographed hugging and laughing before walking down the dark hallway.

The pair are "in the very early stages, but both really like each other," an unnamed source told Us Weekly.

An unnamed insider also told E! News that Davidson and Ratajkowski have started "casually seeing each other."

The two have known each other for years and have hung out in New York City multiple times. They recently reconnected after Davidson texted her "wanting to get together to catch up," the source told the outlet.

Since then, the comedian and the model "have gone on a few dates," and Ratajkowski finds Davidson "a lot of fun to hang out with," the insider added.

Davidson and Kardashian called it quits earlier this year due to their demanding schedules and long-distance arrangement that eventually became more challenging to them as they had different priorities, according to reports.

"Kim and Pete have decided to just be friends," an unnamed source close to Kardashian told Page Six. "They have a lot of love and respect for each other but found that the long distance and their demanding schedules made it really difficult to maintain a relationship."

Their age difference also contributed to their separation, another source told Page Six. Kardashian is 13 years older than Davidson and is co-parenting four children with her ex-husband Kanye West — North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.

"Pete is totally spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York, or wherever he is on a moment's notice," the insider said. "But Kim has four kids, and it isn't that easy. She needs to focus on the kids."
