Kim Kardashian Talks Life And Marriage After Paris Robbery On ‘The View’
Kim Kardashian opened up about her life following the Paris robbery that left her traumatized duringa guest appearance on “The View.”
This is the first time Kardashian has stopped by the daytime talk show “The View” in five years, so she and the hosts had a lot of catching up to do. The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star shared how the Paris robbery she encountered last year changed her perspective about social media.
“I try to share my life. I definitely love doing that, but I think I’m a little bit more cautious these days about what I do share,” she said on the show, as quoted by E! News. “I’ve learned through experience that things in real time I might change up a little bit. I might take a photo, save it, post it when I leave the place or when I’m in a different location because I don’t think that worked out for me so well when I was posting every last detail.”

According to Kanye West’s wife, the Paris incident had changed her for the better. Although Kardashian’s life was jeopardized, she opted to learn from the experience. The mom-of-two realized that she had to change her lifestyle, so she is now limiting herself when it comes to sharing bits and pieces of her life. “The things that were important to me before and the things I liked to show off before are definitely not the things I like to show off now,” she said.
On Oct. 3, 2016, Paris police chief Christian Sainte received a call about Kardashian being a victim of an armed robbery. He had not been aware of the reality star’s identity until he searched her name on Google. Knowing that Kim has millions of followers, he didn’t doubt the crime.
According to Chief Sainte, banks have become impenetrable in Paris, so thieves had to find another target. “So the professionals have a solution: attack the person at home or in the street,” Variety quoted him as saying. Kardashian’s robbery case made headlines and sparked questions regarding the security in Paris.
The Paris heist has was a nightmare for Kardashian, but her relationship with West has remained strong. Kardashian said she is confident in their marriage. For her, being friends for several years before their relationship turned romantic has been a huge factor in their marriage. In fact, she believes that they will be together even when they turn old and gray. “I know when we’re 80 and can hardly move, we'll just be talking and talking,” she said.
Although Kim is very happy with her relationship with West, she admitted that her spouse was a poor Instagram husband. “He just was not the best photographer,” she told People.
