Kim Kardashian West Baby Boy: 6 Times North West Proved She’s Going To Be A Good Big Sister

Kim Kardashian West and her husband Kanye West welcomed baby No. 2, a boy, Saturday. The 35-year-old “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star announced the happy news on Twitter, writing that she and the baby are “doing well.”

The couple’s new arrival means their first child, North West, is officially a big sister. Check out six times the 2-year-old proved she will be a great older sibling.

1. She Loves Helping Out

It looks like North West is already a pro at feeding newborn babies. Two weeks ago, her father’s cousin Ricky Anderson shared on Instagram a photograph of little North West feeding his newborn son with a bottle. In the image, the little girl is seen standing over the infant as she gently holds the bottle. “#Cousinlove,” Anderson captioned the photo.

2. She Gets Along With Other Kids

North West is not only pretty good at helping to take care of newborns but also appears to get along with other little kids, especially her cousins. Kourtney Kardashian previously revealed to Harper’s Bazaar that her niece and her daughter Penelope Disick sometimes fight over shoes (as any female cousins do), but they always make up.

“By the end, they were sharing and trying the shoes on each other and having so much fun,” Kourtney Kardashian said. “It reminds me of how Kim and I were when we were little girls.”

3. She Likes To Share

North West proved she’s not stingy with sharing her toys during Kardashian West’s appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in October. The then-pregnant reality-television personality shared a behind-the-scenes picture of her daughter and host Ellen DeGeneres playing together with My Little Pony.

4. She’s Already Prepared To Be A Big Sister

Kardashian West told the Daily Mail (via Capital FM) in June she and Kanye West were preparing their daughter for the arrival of baby No. 2 by reading her books on being an older sibling. “I don’t know if North really understands she’s getting a baby brother yet,” Kardashian West admitted. “We read books at night with stories about big sisters and baby brothers, families.”

5. Kim Kardashian West And North West Talked About The Baby ‘All The Time’

The reality-TV star gushed to E News last month that she and her daughter talked about the baby a lot. “She’s so sweet and yesterday she said, ‘Mommy, can I give baby brother a kiss on your tummy?’ and she kissed my stomach,” Kardashian West shared. “She’s supersweet.”

6. North West Had A Super Cute Reaction To Her Mom’s Baby Announcement

During an appearance last summer, a pregnant Kardashian West told reporters that after she told her daughter about her second pregnancy, North West believed “everyone [had] a baby in their belly.”

“She knows that Mommy has a baby in her belly, but she thinks everyone has a baby in their belly. I think she thinks I’m saying ‘belly button.’ I don’t think she really understands it,” Kardashian West said. “Maybe when my belly gets bigger and she actually sees it, she’ll understand better.”
