Kim Zolciak Caught Smoking While Pregnant, 'Don't Be Tardy' Star Threatens Legal Action [VIDEO]

Former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kim Zolciak is known for speaking her mind. Fans are now taking a page out of the reality star's book and sharing their own opinions about the pregnant mother of four's alleged decision to smoke while expecting.

Zolciak, 35, who was photographed last week smoking while sporting a prominent pregnant belly, was flamed by fans of her Bravo series, "Don't Be Tardy ...," Friday. Zolciak responded to photos and a video published by the Mail Online, telling fans on her official Facebook page she is pursuing legal action against the publication that shared the footage.

"There are A LOT of things I let slide, however, misleading accusations and claims I will NOT tolerate!" Zolciak wrote. "My legal team will handle from here."

"If it's true, I am very sad that you're smoking while pregnant," said fan Wendy Campbell on the reality star and former nurse's Facebook page Friday. "You of all people know the effects that can happen to your baby." Others backed the star saying it was her personal choice to smoke while pregnant. "If she is, then it is her business," fan Melanie Blackwell Robinson said.

The footage shows the reality star sporting sweats and what appears to be a cigarette while enjoying a phone call outdoors in Atlanta Thursday. The images were reportedly taken the same day the star's pregnancy was revealed on the season two finale of "Don't Be Tardy," according to the New York Daily News.

The child will be the fifth for the former "Housewives" star. Zolciak has two children from prior relationships: Brielle, 16, and Ariana, 11. This will be the third biological child for Zolciak's husband of two years, 27-year-old NFL star Kroy Biermann. The couple has two boys together, Kroy Jr., known as K.J., now 2, and 9-month-old Kash.
