The Lifetime Christmas movies continue with the premiere of "Kirk Franklin's The Night Before Christmas," starring Naturi Naughton, Lorea Turner, Luke James and Kirk Franklin, on Saturday night.

The film will be a treat for fans, as they will be reintroduced to some faces that might be familiar from previous Lifetime Christmas movies, as well as some they may not know. For example, Turner is a new face not only to Lifetime but acting in general and is making her debut in the film. Naughton, in the meantime, is best known for her role as Tasha on the series "Power," as well as being an original member of the lineup for the early 2000s female Pop/R&B group 3LW.

James is also not necessarily a well-known name on Lifetime, but did star in Hallmark's "Christmas in Harmony," as well as in the series "Star." Fans likely will recognize Franklin though, as the musician and producer also was the mastermind and star behind 2021's "Kirk Franklin's A Gospel Christmas."

So, what can fans expect from the film? According to a synopsis, a freak storm trapping some travelers together inside a church will lead to mended relationships and full hearts this holiday season.

"Caught in a blizzard on Christmas Eve, estranged mother and daughter Journee (Naughton) and Nia (Turner) are forced to take refuge inside a church where a handful of also-trapped parishioners are reeling from the cancellation of their annual holiday concert," the synopsis reads. "The spirit of the season takes hold as Journee and Nia weather the wintry storm together with the other churchgoers, including handsome youth pastor Adam (James) and a heavenly music teacher (Franklin), who motivate the mother and daughter to reconcile their differences through music, faith, and love."

"With the help from this unlikely yet spirited group of strangers, Journee and Nia band together to help the church salvage not only their holiday traditions but also their show-stopping Christmas day performance, despite the raging storm outside," the synopsis concludes.

"Kirk Franklin's The Night Before Christmas" airs Saturday at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
