‘A Kiss Before Christmas’ Hallmark Movie Premiere: Cast, Trailer, Synopsis

Hallmark Channel’s very merry holiday season continues with the newest “Countdown to Christmas” holiday premiere, “A Kiss Before Christmas.” The film, starring James Denton and Teri Hatcher, premieres Sunday night.

The film is sure to be a momentous one for Hallmark fans, as it brings Denton and Hatcher back together on the small screen for the first time since their days starring as Mike Delfino and Susan Mayer-Delfino on ABC’s “Desperate Housewives.” It also marks Hatcher’s first role on Hallmark as well, meaning this will be the first time Hallmarkies get to see the “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” alum try her hand at one of their famed holiday films.

Of course, this will also mark a momentous occasion for fans when it comes to Denton’s role in the film. While he did star as Dr. Sam Radford on “Good Witch,” he too has yet to star in a Hallmark Christmas movie—until now.

So what will happen when these two former co-stars reunite for the first time in their first holiday movie? Let’s find out.

“Real estate development executive Ethan Holt (Denton) is a married father with two teens. On Christmas Eve, Ethan is disappointed to learn he’s losing out on a promotion and laments that his ‘nice guy’ way of doing business has held him back in his career,” a synopsis for the film reads. “Thanks to some Christmas magic, Ethan’s casual wish that his life had taken a different course becomes reality. He wakes up the next morning and is shocked to find everything is different—he isn’t married to Joyce (Hatcher), he doesn’t have two teenaged kids and he’s CEO of his company.”

However, Ethan quickly discovers that the life he had was actually perfect and the one he wants, but the only way he can get it back is by finding Joyce, which will prove harder than it seems, as she has no recollection of their life together.

“Joyce is the key to Ethan being able to reclaim his original life and the family he loves,” the synopsis continues. “He must convince her that their happily-ever-after is waiting for them...and he only has until Christmas Day.”

“A Kiss Before Christmas” airs Sunday, Nov. 21 at 8 p.m. EST on Hallmark Channel.
