Kourtney Kardashian Opens Up About Relationship With Travis Barker: ‘It’s So Funny’

Kourtney Kardashian never thought that she and fiancé Travis Barker would become romantically involved and would later march down to a Vegas “practice wedding.”

“It’s so funny when we think about, like, this is us. Can you believe it? We’re, like, Kourtney and Travis, who are friends,” Kardashian, 42, said in an interview with ABC News for the primetime special “The Kardashians” on Wednesday night.

“I felt like deep down, if we looked into each other’s eyes and made it, you know, physical, that it would just be over,” the reality star added.

Just a few hours before the primetime special aired, the socialite and Poosh founder shared a gallery of snaps showing her fake wedding with the 46-year-old Blink-182 musician in Las Vegas after attending the Grammy Awards.

“Found these in my camera roll,” she captioned a series of photos from the ceremony led by an Elvis Presley impersonator. “Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license). Practice makes perfect.”

The photos showed the pair embracing and kissing each other while wearing leather jackets and sunglasses. The bride held a bouquet of red roses.

Barker also shared a couple of photos from the ceremony and wrote, “What happens in Vegas.”

Kardashian and Barker confirmed their relationship in February 2021 when she posted on Instagram, a photo of two hands clasped together while inside a car. Since then, the mother of three has shared multiple PDA photos with Barker who has been married twice before and is a father to two teenagers.

The pair got engaged on a beach in October amid rows of crimson red flowers. Kardashian shared snaps from the sweet moment and simply captioned it, “forever.”

Kardashian has never been married but shares three children: 12-year-old Mason, 9-year-old Penelope and 7-year-old Reign with ex-partner Scott Disick. Meanwhile, Barker previously married Melissa Kennedy from 2001 to 2002 and Shanna Moakler from 2004 to 2008. He has two children with Moakler: Landon, 18 and Alabama, 16.
