After arguing with her sister Kim Kardashian about the children’s candy-themed birthday party, Kourtney Kardashian has been facing backlash from the fans. The reality TV star has now clarified her stand on candy and reiterated how healthy living is important.

The argument between the sisters is featured in episode 9 of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” Season 17. A clip from the episode that has been released online shows Kim telling her sister that her kids eat healthy food every day, but they should be allowed to indulge in some candy on their birthday. Kourtney, however, felt that they can reach a compromise by choosing candy that is not filled with unhealthy chemicals.

The argument became so intense that the sisters at one point agreed to do two separate parties. The other members of the family helped the two feuding sisters to reach a compromise, and they eventually had one big party for everyone.

Reacting to what they saw on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” some of the fans wondered whether Kourtney bans her children from eating candy. The reality TV star responded to the fans and said that she was “shocked” that they feel that way. She explained that her stand has never been “no candy,” US Weekly reported.

Kourtney wanted to add some healthy options to the party with some salads along with the junk food. While Kim wanted an ice-cream truck, her sister wanted some non diary options. “moderation.” She told her fans on social media.

As far as the candy was concerned, Kourtney was able to get organic cotton candy. “There are healthier candy options,” she said.

While the families dreaded having to choose between the two birthday parties, it was Khloe Kardashian who got her two sisters together to work out a compromise, E! News reported. The “Revenge Boy” star explained that it would not look good to tell everyone in “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” that they were having a fight over candy.
