Kourtney Kardashian Reveals IVF Treatment Put Her 'Into Menopause' In Leaked Teaser: Report

Kourtney Kardashian is opening up about her struggles as she tries to get pregnant via in vitro fertilization.

Kardashian announced that she and fiancé Travis Barker want to expand their family when the trailer for the upcoming Hulu show "The Kardashians" dropped earlier this week.

The mother of three said in the clip, "Travis and I want to have a baby," over footage of the couple's October 2021 engagement.

In a new leaked teaser for the series, which has since been taken down, the 42-year-old reality star revealed that the IVF medication she has been taking to get pregnant caused severe side effects such as weight gain and menopause-like symptoms, Page Six reported.

"It hasn't been the most amazing experience," Kardashian said of her fertility treatments in the teaser, which was leaked on Instagram.

The sneak peek showed Kardashian opening up to her mom Kris Jenner about the online criticism she's gotten amid her IVF process, including how she's "gained so much weight."

"I'm, like, it's so rude to comment on people when you have no idea what they're going through," Kardashian told her mom. "The medication that they've been giving me, they put me into menopause. Literally into menopause."

The momager appeared shocked by her eldest daughter's confession and asked if it was due to the drug. The Poosh founder confirmed that it was but did not disclose the medication she was taking.

Kardashian has been the subject of pregnancy speculation multiple times over the past year.

Some social media users suggested she may be expecting a child back in August 2021, when Kardashian shared mirror selfies in which she shows off her new short haircut and her figure in a black sports bra and sweatpants.

In the same month, the reality star fired back at commenters who assumed that she's pregnant with her and Barker's child underneath an Instagram photo of Kardashian sporting a black Skims bralette and draping red dress.

Kardashian shut down the rumors by responding to one Instagram user: "I'm a woman with a BODY."

A similar interaction happened again in December 2021 when she shared a bikini photo in a jacuzzi with her stomach under the water.

"Not to be that girl, but… is that a [pregnant] belly?" one follower asked.

"Are we really going to do this every time I post a photo?" Kardashian replied, according to Page Six.

Kardashian shares sons Mason, 11, and Reign, 6, and daughter Penelope, 9, with ex Scott Disick. Meanwhile, Barker shares two kids with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, son Landon, 18, and daughter Alabama, 16.
