Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick Have 'Tense Relationship' Due To Travis Barker: Report

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's relationship is "tense" as her romance with new boyfriend Travis Barker continues to heat up, a report says.

Kardashian and Disick have remained amicable since they split for good in 2015 and continued to co-parent their three children — Mason, 11, Penelope, 8, and Reign, 6. However, the exes are "barely speaking" nowadays as her new relationship with the Blink-182 drummer gets serious, E! News reported.

"Scott and Kourtney have a tense relationship right now primarily because he's been focusing on his new life in Miami and because of Kourtney getting serious with Travis," an unnamed source told the outlet. "They are barely speaking. It's hard for him to see Kourtney in love with someone else."

The insider maintained that Kardashian and Disick "aren't fighting by any means." However, their relationship "has changed and they haven't spent much time together as a family recently," the source said.

Another unnamed source said the Talentless Clothing founder is distancing himself from the mother of his children. Disick reportedly knows that he will always be part of her life, but they are in a different dynamic right now, the insider added.

"Scott wished Kourtney a happy Mother's Day privately but is really distancing himself. He doesn't want to interfere with her relationship. They do connect about the kids often but that's about the extent of it currently," the second insider added.

News of Kardashian and Barker dating broke in January, but Us Weekly reported at the time, citing unnamed sources, that the pair's friendship turned into romance late last year.

Meanwhile, Disick confessed his desire to fully commit to his ex on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" Season 20. Kourtney's family, including sisters Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, were supportive of them getting back together.

"I think we're all rooting for them," Khloe said in a recent episode. "Maybe they just need this time. And maybe they need even more time than right now. Who knows? But we're always rooting for them."

Kendall said, "I am Team 'Scourt.' I think [Kourtney will] literally kill me for saying anything, but I am... I've known their relationship pretty much from the beginning, and you could just tell how much they loved each other."

Despite this, Kardashian and Barker's romance only seems to be getting more serious. According to body language expert Blanca Cobb, Kardashian and Barker have a connection that is both physical and chemical, based on their social media photos.
