What Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker's Photos Reveal About Their Relationship, According To Expert

Kourtney Kardashian and boyfriend Travis Barker's recent photos speak volumes about their connection, a body language expert has suggested.

Kardashian, 42, and Barker, 45, whose years-long friendship turned into romance late last year, have been packing on PDA in their photos on social media. While speaking with Cosmopolitan about the couple's pictures, body language expert Blanca Cobb said they show that the reality star and the musician's connection is both physical and chemical.

One snap she examined was a steamy one Kardashian posted on April 27 from their romantic trip to Utah's Amangiri resort. In the shot, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star straddled the Blink-182 drummer while they kissed. The reality star wore a white, barely-there thong bikini and printed bandana, while a shirtless Barker sported dark shades and black shorts.

"This photo of Kourtney and Travis is hot, hot, hot," Cobb said of the picture. "Kourtney and Travis are connected from their lips to their hips. With so much of their skin touching, their bodies have to be exploding with oxytocin, dopamine, serotonin, hormones that make them feel more blissfully connected. And they’re all about a physical connection with Kourtney’s lips locked onto his and her bum snuggled into his hands. Let’s put it this way: The heat is on!"

Cobb also looked at the photo Barker posted for Kardashian's birthday in which he can be seen wrapping her in his arms while kissing on her couch.

"When couples are utterly oblivious to the world, a telltale sign is when their physical connection, not their faces, is seen in a photo. That’s what’s happening between Kourtney and Travis. Their bodies wrapped into each other, with Travis’s fingers bringing Kourtney closer," Cobb said of the image.

"Kourtney’s arm lock is making sure that he’s not going anywhere," she continued. "Look at the way Travis is sitting. He’s leaning forward slightly with Kourtney in his arms and his legs in a runner’s stance. He can quickly and easily pick her up and relocate to a more private area."

Kardashian and Barker had a platonic relationship for years before they started dating, an unnamed insider previously told Entertainment Tonight. Barker is reportedly very smitten with his girlfriend and has been like that for a while, the source added.

Despite being less than six months into their relationship, Kardashian and Barker may be ready to take it to the next level, another unnamed source told ET.

"Kourtney and Travis are in love and have talked about their future and the possibility of getting engaged and married," the insider said. "Kourtney hasn't felt this strongly about anyone in a while and can see a forever with Travis."
