Kourtney Kardashian’s Ex Scott Disick Kisses Sofia Richie After Father Criticizes Romance

Scott Disick may not have her father’s approval, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to stop him from making out with his new girlfriend, Sofia Richie. Even though the couple has been criticized for their new romance, it seems like the two are determined to share their love.

On Monday, Richie shared a photo of herself and Disick kissing on her Instagram Story. Despite criticism due to their age difference and the reality star’s notorious behavior, the two have not been shy about flaunting their relationship.

Both Richie and Disick have posted couple-like photos to their individual social media accounts, and have been photographed kissing and holding hands on vacation.

Although the couple looks as if they are quickly falling for one another, a friend close to Disick insists the star doesn’t take the romance seriously and isn’t optimistic that it will last long.

“Scott isn’t treating this as a long-term relationship whatsoever,” a source told People. “He is just having fun. Sofia wanted commitment from him, so he committed to be her ‘boyfriend.’”

The insider went on to reveal that Richie is “much more invested in the relationship” than Disick is.

“Sofia is very young and naive and doesn’t know what she’s in for,” the source said. “She feels like she’s in the in-crowd right now and loves that Scott has swagger and money and that he loves to travel and party.”

Sources close to Disick believe he will never get serious with Richie because he still cares about his ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian, who has moved on with boxer Younes Bendjima. “He still has Kourtney at the top of his mind all the time, and he is still texting and flirting with other girls,” the insider said.

While the star is happy in her new relationship, she has some doubts concerning her ex’s new romance. “Kourtney thinks this fling with Sofia is a little weird, but nothing shocks her anymore. Kourtney just wants Scott to be his old self. She shares three kids with him, so she’ll always want the best for him and will always make sure he’s happy,” a source told Us Weekly.

Since news of the couple's romance first broke, the model’s father, Lionel Richie, told the publication he doesn’t approve of his 19-year-old daughter’s relationship with the 34-year-old, who shares three children with Kardashian.

“I’m scared to death, are you kidding me?” he said when asked about the relationship.

The “Hello” singer went on to admit that he was struggling to accept Sofia and Disick’s romance. “Have I been in shock?! I’m the dad, come on,” he added.

A source close to the singer told People that he is disappointed with his daughter’s choices. “He thinks Scott is the worst person she could ever see and that he raised her better than that.”

“He thinks she should have more respect for herself as a young woman. Lionel knows Scott’s playboy ways and he doesn’t want to see his daughter get hurt,” the insider added.

For now, it looks like Lionel will have to accept his daughter and Disick’s new relationship for however long it may last.
