Kourtney Kardashian's Ex Scott Disick, Sofia Richie Are Officially Dating, Source Says

Scott Disick and Sofia Richie are officially hooking up.

Disick and Richie have been spotted together more frequently over the past few weeks, fueling rumors that the two are an item. Now, a source has claimed that the reality star and Lionel Richie's daughter are indeed dating. "Things became official over the past week while they were in New York City together," a source told Us Weekly.

Disick, 34, and Richie, 19, were last spotted together on Friday when they grabbed coffee together in Calabasas, California. They then headed to Barneys in Beverly Hills. However, this was not the first time that the pair had been seen hanging out.

Richie was reportedly around when Disick celebrated his birthday in Cannes, France back in May. The pair apparently flirted with each other, and at one point, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star carried the model around the yacht.

But after rumors of them dating first surfaced, Richie firmly denied any budding romance between her and the reality star. Richie took to Twitter and said that she and Disick are just "homies."

But fans were hesitant to believe Richie's statement as they only seemed to grow closer over the next few months. In September, the pair was spotted being affectionate to each other in New York, with the model wrapping her arms around Disick's waist. Kourtney Kardashian's ex also wrapped his arm around her as they talked with a group of friends.

Despite their closeness, some find Richie and Disick's relationship awkward because of her connection to the Kardashians. "It's so weird. Not just the age difference, but mostly the fact that Sofia had been a family friend for years, and was close to Kendall and Kylie," a source told Us Weekly.

Prior to dating each other, Disick was linked to Bella Thorne. However, the latter denied the speculation, claiming that she's eyeing someone and it's not the reality star. "Scott is really nice, sweet, charming. I don't drink, and he really drinks a lot. And it just ended up… I just wasn't down. I was like, 'I gotta leave,'" Thorne told People of their relationship.

On the other hand, Richie was linked to "Baby" crooner Justin Bieber. Back in March, the singer commented on Richie's photoshoot with Flaunt Magazine, calling her "pretty." A number of fans reacted to it, leading Bieber to quit Instagram.

However, a source later told E! Online (via Daily Mail) that he and Richie "were never officially together but more casual hanging out and having fun."
