Krispy Kreme is mixing things up in November with a new pair of doughnuts, adding caramel glazes for the first time to their menu.

The North Carolina-based chain announced the two new treats will be available starting Monday and until Nov. 22. One is a Carmel Glazed doughnut and the other is a Salted Double Caramel Crunch doughnut.

The Carmel Glazed is an original doughnut with a caramel glaze over it. The Salted Double Caramel Crunch is an original doughnut and dipped in caramel glaze, as well, but it has salted crunch toppings.

Krispy Kreme often releases limited glazes throughout the year including chocolate, strawberry and coffee among others.

“There are a lot of caramel lovers out there and if you’re one of them, this doughnut is going to blow your mind," said Dave Skena, chief marketing officer for Krispy Kreme.

"It’s incredibly delicious and you’re going to need to take a moment for yourself and just be one with caramel awesomeness.

"It’s been a year, to say the least. You’ve earned it.”

Some on Twitter commended Krispy Kreme for the new doughnuts.
