Kristen Doute Denies Reports Bravo Fired Her, Stassi Schroeder From ‘Vanderpump Rules’

Kristen Doute denied the reports that Bravo fired her and Stassi Schroeder from “Vanderpump Rules” after their former co-star Faith Stowers claimed they reported her for a crime she didn't commit.

On Thursday, Doute made her first interview after Bravo removed her and Schroeder from their reality series. But prior to doing the interview, she engaged with the netizens on Instagram and responded to their negative comments, Us Weekly reported. First, Doute said they were not fired as what outlets reported in the past months.

"We wren't fired. They chose not to renew our contracts. That was their decision to make," she wrote.

She also explained the controversy involving her and co-stars Schroeder and Stowers. In an interview with Candace Rice on IGTV, Stowers recalled how Schroeder and Doute falsely accused her and tried to get her arrested for a crime she didn't do two years ago.

“There was this article on Daily Mail where there was an African American lady. It was a weird photo, so she looked very light-skinned and had these different, weird tattoos. They showcased her, and I guess this woman was robbing people,” Stowers shared. “And they called the cops and said it was me. This is like, a true story. I heard this from actually Stassi in an interview.”

Us Weekly shared a screenshot of Doute's responses to one comment about the issue. She admitted that she called the hotline because multiple people told her the girl on the news was Stowers and they alleged that she had a history of doing such things.

"That I've admitted and have publicly and privately apologized. I should have stayed out of it and especially never brought it to social media," Doute stated.

Bravo released a statement announcing that Schroeder and Doute are no longer returning to their reality show just days after Stowers' interview. The network also dropped Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni for their racist tweets years ago.

“Bravo and Evolution Media confirmed today that Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni will not be returning to ‘Vanderpump Rules,'” a rep for the network told Page Six.

Meanwhile, Schroeder lost her endorsement deals after Stowers' revelations. Billie, a shaving brand she endorsed, ended its partnership with the reality star saying they cut ties with anyone who doesn't support the fight against racism. Vitamin company Ritual also parted ways with the "Queen Bees" star.
