Kristen Stewart Cheating Scandal: Will Ferrel Calls 'Twilight' Actress A 'Trampire' On 'Conan' [VIDEO]
Since Kristen Stewart decided to publicly admit to cheating on boyfriend Robert Pattinson with director Rupert Sanders, Hollywood has been buzzing with talk about what fueled the brief fling and what will happen to the "Twilight" stars career.
On July 17, a stealth paparazzo reportedly snapped photos of Stewart and Sanders kissing, which appeared in Us Weekly.
But it wasn't until July 24 that media outlet E! News reported of the Sanders-Stewart hookup. Sanders' wife reportedly tweeted
Just recently, Stewart released a statement coming clean to hooking up with the married man. Sanders, who also has several kids with wife Liberty Ross, was Stewart's director on the set of "Snow White and the Huntsman."
In the statement Stewart apologizes first, telling People Magazine in a statement: "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
Christian Serratos, who plays Angela Weber (a mortal pal of Stewart's character Bella) in the five "Twilight" films, Stewart's fling with the married father-of-two isn't something that should affect ticket sales for the upcoming "Breaking Dawn - Part 2."
"Of course people are fans of us now, but I think above anything, they're fans of these characters," she told Us Weekly. "I don't think anyone's really gonna give a sh-t. They're gonna see the movie; it's going to be awesome."
One person who apparently does care is Will Ferrel. The "Anchorman" actor appeared on "Conan" last night and shared his concern with the entire audience.
"I just...I don't know if there was anything I could have to prevent it," Ferrel cried. "I don't know what it means to the 'Twilight' franchise. I Just don't know," he added.
Ferrell got extremely emotional about the situation and even culminated the appearance by calling Stewart a "trampire."
While the audience most definitely knew that Ferrell was just being his funny self, his "Conan" appearance is going down as one of the most outspoken celebrity opinions on the subject.
