Kristen Stewart Is Reportedly Dating Cara Delevingne’s Ex-Girlfriend, Musician St. Vincent
Actress Kristen Stewart is dating musician St. Vincent, according to a report from Us Weekly.
The 34-year-old musician, whose real name is Annie Clark, accompanied the 26-year-old actress to the 2016 New York Film Festival screening of her new film “Certain Women” on Oct. 3, and they “spent almost every day together after that,” a source told the magazine.
The two were first seen together on Aug. 30 at a comedy show in Los Angeles. Stewart was last seen with her then-girlfriend, video producer Alicia Cargile, days before, on Aug. 27. St. Vincent, meanwhile, broke up with actress Cara Delevingne last summer after being together for more than a year.
The day after the NYFF screening, the two were again seen having lunch at sushi restaurant Soba-ya, and in the afternoon they took a walk through New York City’s East village, the report says.
Stewart then attended St. Vincent’s show in L.A. on Oct. 9.
“It's been very romantic,” the source said. “Kristen is always whispering closely in her ear and asking her opinion.”
Stewart, who confirmed her relationship with Cargile in Elle UK’s September issue, said she began to be more public with her relationships after she started seeing women.
“I was like, ‘Actually, to hide this provides the implication that I’m not down with it or I’m ashamed of it,’ so I had to alter how I approached being in public,” she continued to the magazine. “It opened my life up and I’m so much happier,” said Stewart, who once dated “Twilight” co-star Robert Pattinson.
She reiterates this in her new interview with Elle in the magazine’s November issue. "Things have changed,” she revealed. “And not just with me — we’re really allowed to encourage this new acceptance and be awesome."
In the September issue of Elle UK, she opened up about her relationship then with Cargile. “Right now, I’m just really in love with my girlfriend,” Stewart told the magazine then. “We’ve broken up a couple of times and gotten back together, and this time I was like, ‘Finally, I can feel again.’”
