Kristen Stewart Says She Has 'Only Made 5 Really Good Films' In Her Career

Kristen Stewart is not a fan of many of the projects in which she appeared.

The 31-year-old actress, who catapulted to stardom for her role in the "Twilight" film series, revealed in an interview with The Sunday Times that she only liked a few of the dozens of films she has worked on throughout her career.

"It's a total crapshoot," Stewart admitted. "I've probably made five really good films, out of 45 or 50 films? Ones that I go, 'Wow, that person made a top-to-bottom beautiful piece of work!'"

Stewart said among her favorites are director Olivier Assayas' "Clouds of Sils Maria" and "Personal Shopper."

"I'd have to look at my credit list. But they are few and far between," the star continued.

Stewart explained that she doesn't regret the experience of making most of the films and has "only regretted saying yes to a couple of films." However, it wasn't over the result but rather that "it wasn't fun," according to the actress.

"The worst is when you're in the middle of something and know that not only is it probably going to be a bad movie, but we're all bracing until the end," she added.

When asked to name the films that made her feel that way, Stewart refused, saying she was not a "mean person" and wasn't going to "call people out in public."

Stewart will next be seen in the movie "Spencer," in which she portrays the late Princess Diana.

In a previous interview with the Daily Mail, she admitted that she had one regret about her performance in the Pablo Larraín movie, which was that "I'm not a mum yet. It's the one part of playing her that I felt disloyal about."

Stewart told Entertainment Tonight recently that she's now more selective when it comes to choosing films. While she enjoyed being "really intentionally the opposite of precious" in terms of picking projects, the actress said she's "going to be a little more careful" from now on.

"I think I have a better nose for what's going to be fruitful for me personally, as an experience, if not necessarily what's going to thrive out in the world," she explained.

"Spencer" premiered at the Venice Film Festival on Sept. 3, just four days after Princess Diana's death anniversary. The movie generated a lot of buzz, with some critics already predicting an Oscar nod for Stewart.

In a previous interview with BBC News, Stewart shared that she was so anxious about playing the late Princess of Wales that she suffered TMJ, or temporomandibular joint disorder, before they started filming and couldn't open her mouth for weeks. The director told her to "relax and trust the process" and to rely on her extensive preparation for the role.

"Spencer" will be released on Nov. 5.
