Kristen Stewart: 'Snow White,' 'Twilight' Actress Is 22 And Quite Grown Up [PHOTOS]

Happy Birthday, Kristen Stewart! The Twilight actress who brought Bella Swan to life turned 22 on Monday.

Stewart has come a long way from her first major film role -- playing Jodie Foster's young daughter in the 2002 film Panic Room. She played an angsty teenager in the 2007 film In the Land of Women. She also had memorable roles in the films Into the Wild and Adventureland.

But it would be a certain film based on a book about a teenage girl who falls in love with a vampire that put her on the international stage. Critics may not always like the character of Bella Swan, but the vast majority of the franchise's fans are thrilled that Stewart is playing her -- and that she's opposite English hottie and reported real-life sweetheart Robert Pattinson.

Stewart is almost done wrapping up her time as Bella. The final film in the Twilight franchise, Breaking Dawn: Part Two, hits U.S. theaters in November.

Stewart has another major film coming out this year. She will play the iconic fairy tale character Snow White in Snow White and the Huntsman, which hits U.S. theaters on June 1. Those who are afraid that she will just be playing some saccharine princess role can relax. Stewart's Snow White is going to do battle with a very Evil Queen played by Charlize Theron.
