Kristin Cavallari's Brother, Michael Cavallari, Missing; Abandoned Car Found Off Utah Interstate
Michael Cavallari is missing. Utah police have launched a missing person case into the disappearance of the brother of the reality TV star known as Kristin Cavallari and brother-in-law to Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.
Cavallari, 30, was last seen near Green River, Utah, Nov. 27, when police found his 2014 Honda Civic abandoned roughly five miles south of Interstate 70 and exit 175, CBS News reported Sunday. One airbag was deployed, and the car was still running when police found the vehicle, according to CrimeMagazine.com, and Cavallari's phone and laptop were also found inside the vehicle.
Officers scoured the surrounding area to no avail. They found receipts in the car that traced back to a convenience store in Monticello, Utah, in the southeastern corner of the state, and found surveillance video that ultimately proved Cavallari was the driver of the car. Cavallari was reportedly en route to Illinois when he vanished.
Police have confirmed Cavallari is the brother of Kristin Cavallari, who starred in the MTV shows “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills” before she married Cutler. The couple welcomed their third child last month.
Anyone with information regarding Michael Cavallari’s whereabouts is encouraged to call Grand County Sheriff’s Office at 435-259-8115.
