Krystal Nielson’s ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Ex Chris Randone Reacts To Her Pregnancy
Baby on board! “Bachelor in Paradise” alum Krystal Nielson is expecting her first child with boyfriend Miles Bowles.
The 33-year-old’s pregnancy announcement came Wednesday, several months after she shared news of her split from Chris Randone, her husband of eight months, on Valentine’s Day. The two met on Season 5 of the ABC reality show and got married in a follow-up installment.
Nielson’s baby news appears to have left Radone devastated. On Wednesday, he posted several emotional videos on his Instagram Story sharing his feelings about his ex’s pregnancy.
In his first post, Randone shared a photo of himself explaining why he decided to post his reaction on social media.
“Anxiety & Depression can wreak havoc if you hold it in. Today media outlets, DMs & family/friends flooded my phone so I figured I’d share how I’m feeling and knowing that expressing pain is very therapeutic. It’s okay to be vulnerable and express yourself & how you’re feeling,” he wrote.
In a series of videos, Randone revealed hearing the news about Nielson’s pregnancy “feels like death.” The 31-year-old claimed he “felt a lot of pain during the divorce and separation,” and the most recent announcement from his ex has left him “hurting.”
Randone went on to reflect on the split and revealed he thought he was making process and healing from their break up, but the pregnancy announcement set him back.
Although he admitted he was struggling to deal with the news, Randone noted that pain is only temporary and appeared confident that he would get through it.
“What I’ve learned is if you don’t OWN how you really feel those emotions will CONTROL YOU. If you’re hurt let it, if you fight it, it will fight you,” he wrote in a post.
Randone later revealed that he went on a “support walk” with his friends and decided to end his night with a glass of red wine and S.Pellegrino.
Nielson announced her pregnancy on Instagram by sharing a video of her waiting on the results from a pregnancy test. “Oh my God, my whole life would change ... my heart is pounding so hard,” she said.
The former reality star then shared a longer version of the video on YouTube, which featured the couple’s reaction to her pregnancy and growing baby bump.
Nielson and Bowles are expected to welcome their first child in April 2021.
