Kylie Jenner Continues To Keep Pregnancy Private, Skips Beauty Awards Ceremony
Kylie Jenner has vowed to keep her rumored pregnancy private that even though she’s committed to her cosmetics brand, she decided to skip the recent Beauty Inc. Awards ceremony.
WWD’s annual Beauty Inc. Awards honored the 20-year-old makeup mogul with the newsmaker of the year recognition for Kylie Cosmetics on Thursday. Instead of attending the ceremony, Jenner decision to ask her best friend, Jordyn Woods, to accept it on her behalf.
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star has stayed mum about her pregnancy ever since it was first reported in September. In fact, she has also stayed away from the paparazzi and has been staying at home for most of her rumored pregnancy.
Jenner also skipped the filming of the Kardashian-Jenner’s Christmas special which already aired two weeks ago. She isn’t also included in her entire family’s yearly Christmas photos.
Rumors swirled that Jenner doesn’t want anyone to take photos of her during her pregnancy because of the weight she’s gained. Last month, a source told People that Jenner has become so conscious of the way she looks because her body has changed so much.
“Kylie is only trusting her closest friends and her sisters right now. She wants to reveal things on her own terms but she’s of course having fun teasing everyone. She knows all the attention is on her and her baby bump, but she won’t share until she wants to,” the source told People.
If Jenner is really pregnant with her and Travis Scott’s first child, fans would soon learn about it because she is expected to give birth in February. By then, it’s possible that the reality TV star will finally share photos of her baby girl.
“Kylie isn’t going to publicly address her pregnancy until she gives birth. She’s not doing any public appearances and just wanted to take six months off,” a source told People.
Jenner was last spotted outdoors between August and early September, and she was wearing a loose t-shirt at that time.
