Kylie Jenner Ex-Rival Demi Rose Mawby Praises Reality Star: ‘I Respect Her’

Rapper Tyga was swamped with cheating rumors back when he was still dating “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kylie Jenner, and one of the girls he was accused of cheating with was lingerie model Demi Rose Mawby.

They dated back in May 2016, and Mawby admitted to the Daily Mail that she faced a “little bit” of a backlash from Jenner’s fans since she was accused of stealing Tyga away. Still, Mawby said she thinks very highly of Tyga’s ex-girlfriend. “I respect her and never said anything bad about her. There are no bad vibes, between us, I think. People will always hate on me, I guess,” she said.

Mawby said she’d rather focus on the positive aspect in life, so she mainly ignores the negative comments she receives. “I don’t let the negativity get to me, it never ever gets to me. I’m so happy and I get more love than I ever have online,” she said.

Mawby also said she’s on good terms with Tyga. Even though they are no longer dating, they still keep tabs on one another. “I was quite known before I even met him. But I’m still referred to as Tyga’s ex… We still talk now and then, you know, just ‘how are you?’ and stuff,” she said.

Meanwhile, Jenner is currently going steady with hip-hop artist Travis Scott. Things are getting really serious between them, since Jenner and Scott already got matching butterfly tattoos on their ankles in June. “They are spending a lot of time together. They’re serious! She’s really into him and has known him for a long time. Her family really likes him,” an insider told Us Weekly, adding that even Kylie’s older sister Kendall Jenner approves of their union. “Kendall has also been friends with him for years.”

On the other hand, Tyga opened up about his split from Jenner during an interview with Power 105.1 FM’s “The Breakfast Club.” He said that he has moved on from their relationship, since “I have love for her but I’m not in love no more.”

“When you make a decision to not be in a relationship with someone, ya’ll make that decision, ya’ll split ways,” he added.
