Kylie Jenner Reveals Why She Rekindled Relationship With Tyga After Split, Talks Dating PartyNextDoor

Kylie Jenner is spilling some major details about her dating life in a new interview with Complex magazine. The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star and lip kit creator graces the publication’s latest cover, and dishes on a number of topics including her relationship with Tyga and brief fling with rapper PartyNextDoor.

Jenner told the magazine that she considers her romance with the “Stimulated” rapper to be her first “mature relationship,” but admitted that there were a lot of people who didn’t want to see them together.

“The first year we started hanging out, everyone around him told him not to be with me,” she revealed to magazine. “I still get comments like, ‘Don’t be with him.’ But we’re not doing it for the public — we love each other. We need to be together at all times. We never get mad at each other, we just figure things out.”

One time Jenner and Tyga needed to figure things out was in May, when they called it quits after dating for a year. The makeup guru explained that the breakup was because she needed to see what it was like not being with him. Jenner, 19, first started dating the rapper when she just 17 years old. “We realized that wasn’t what we wanted,” she said, referring to them eventually rekindling their romance.

During the lovebirds’ time apart, Jenner was romantically linked to PartyNextDoor. The E! reality star even played the rapper’s love interest in his music video “Come and See Me.” Although Jenner and PartyNextDoor spent a lot of time together she claims they never really dated. “Me and Party have a cool relationship,” she explained. “I think he’s so talented and I love his music. But I wouldn’t say we dated. It never really got to that boyfriend-girlfriend stage. It was just fun. I was doing what I wanted to do.”

Ever since reuniting, Jenner and Tyga have been attached at the hip. On Saturday, the pair had a date night with some friends at Universal Studio’s Halloween Horror Nights in Hollywood. Last month, Jenner shared a photo on Snapchat of a very expensive gift Tyga gave her: a promise ring. “If this is my promise ring I wanna know what my engagement ring gonna look like,” she captioned the image.
