Kylie Jenner-Tyga Update: Will Caitlyn Jenner Approve If Daughter Marries Rapper Boyfriend?
“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” reality star Kylie Jenner and rapper Tyga haven’t publicly confirmed their relationship, but gossip swirled that he wants to propose to the teenager when she turns 18 in August. The “Rack City” star even asked Kylie's father, 2015 Arthur Ashe Courage award winner Caitlyn Jenner, for approval, Hollywood Life wrote in an exclusive report Thursday.
Tyga, 25, didn’t attend the 2015 ESPY Awards, but he might have gone “overboard” to make up for it, a source told Hollywood Life. He sent Caitlyn, 65, a dozen white roses and a bottle of Champagne. He was emboldened to ask for Kylie’s hand in marriage since the Arthur Ashe Courage Award is “all about love and courage.”
But Tyga's heart is reportedly in the right place when it comes to Kylie, 17. “Tyga’s really on a mission to win Cailtyn’s trust. He doesn’t want Cait to think he’s an opportunist or to look at him sideways. He wants her to accept him the way she accepts Kanye [West]. Cait and Kylie are extremely close and Caitlyn’s the glue that holds that family together,” the insider said. “Tyga wants to be family and Cait can make that happen.”
Caitlyn didn’t respond to Tyga, but laughed and smiled when she received the note, Hollywood Life wrote. Something she might not be happy to hear is that the rapper reportedly doesn’t want to sign a prenuptial agreement.
It might not be the best time to propose marriage, though. Tyga was accused of having a three-year relationship with transgender model Mia Isabella after nude photos of him leaked on the Internet. If the rumors are true, that would mean he cheated on Kylie and ex-girlfriend Blac Chyna.
The rapper, whose real name is Michael Stevenson, has not directly responded to the cheating rumors. But on Monday he tweeted, “Don't trust everything you read,” and “most people don't care if u happy, only if you're miserable like they are. They eat that s--- up.”
