La La Anthony Spends Time With French Montana After Carmelo Anthony Divorce Rumors

Despite being in the process of ending her marriage to NBA star Carmelo Anthony, La La Anthony is attempting to still enjoy life. The actress allegedly spent some time with rapper French Montana at a New York City strip club.

TMZ reported Tuesday that La La initially hit the club on a strictly business basis but stayed for a good time when she ran into the rapper. The star is a producer on a series called “Goal Diggers,” which documents the lives of video girls and exotic dancers who are intent on leaving that world behind and becoming mainstream business women.

Over the weekend, La La visited the NYC club Sapphire to shoot for the upcoming series. However, at the same time she was in the venue, French Montana was also in the building with every intent of having a good time.

While there, the two spent some time together. When papparazzi asked the rapper Monday how La La was feeling since the break up, he insisted she was doing well and revealed that he considers her one of his best friends.

Reports of La La’s fun night out comes after she shared a post of herself looking quite fashionable on Instagram, prior to heading out for a night of fun at the Chanel Tribeca Film Festival Artists Dinner. The “Power” actress shared a snapshot of herself in what looked to be an all white ensemble with a vibrant Chanel purse. “Chanel X Tribeca,” the caption read.

News of La La and Carmelo Anthony’s separation first emerged on April 17. Although it was initially reported that the split was amicable, a woman claimed she was pregnant with the athlete’s baby.

Although the former couple has yet to comment on the allegations, it looks like the road to divorce will not be easy.
