Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper will be teaming up again soon after their hit movie "A Star Is Born."

On Friday, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced via Twitter that Gaga and Cooper will be taking to the stage at the 2019 Oscars to perform their song, "Shallow," from "A Star Is Born." The song is one of the five nominated for best original song.

The other four nominated in the same Oscars 2019 category are Kendrick Lamar's "All The Stars" ("Black Panther"), "I'll Fight" ("RBG"), "The Place Where Lost Things Go" ("Mary Poppins Returns") and "When A Cowboy Trades His Spurs For Wings" ("The Ballad of Buster Scruggs").

Gaga and Cooper recently gave fans a preview of their upcoming Oscars 2019 performance at the singer's show in Las Vegas over the weekend. The pair performed "Shallow" at the MGM Grand stage to the delight of audience members.

News of Gaga and Cooper's Oscars duet comes after some controversy in the song category. It was previously reported that only two songs nominated for best original song would be performed at the 2019 Oscars: "Shallow" and "All The Stars."

Deadline reported that Gaga thought it was unfair that the other three songs were not going to be performed and didn't want to play along unless something was done about this issue.

"Lady Gaga herself, or her reps, made it clear she felt it was completely unfair to eliminate the three songs — almost like the Academy producers were forecasting who they thought would win — and that she wouldn’t perform if a change wasn’t made," the outlet quoted the singer-actress.

Among those who were vocal about their criticism for this change was "Mary Poppins Returns" star Lin-Manuel Miranda, who said that the Academy's decision to disregard the other three songs was "truly disappointing."

Fortunately, the Academy confirmed last week that all of the nominated songs would be performed at the ceremony. Gillian Welch and David Rawlings are set to sing "When a Cowboy Trades His Spurs for Wings," while "The Place Where Lost Things Go" will be performed by a special surprise guest. "I'll Fight" will be sung by Jennifer Hudson.

In other news, Gaga and Cooper have been the subject of many tabloid reports lately, with many outrageous claims being made about their relationship.

The latest rumor came from Woman's Day Australia, which put out a story claiming Cooper and Irina Shayk are on the verge of breaking up due to the actor's closeness with Gaga. The supermodel reportedly feels like a "third wheel," according to an unnamed source.

But there is absolutely no truth to the rumor, and Cooper and Gaga are very happy with their respective partners, according to Gossip Cop.
