Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper Not Actually Friends? Why Co-Stars 'Haven't Spent Time' Together
Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper may have lost touch with each other.
Gaga and Cooper had been the talk of the awards season earlier this year after the massive success and recognition of their film, "A Star Is Born." Despite being in committed relationships, however, the co-stars had been plagued with rumors that they developed feelings for each other. Rumors only got worse after the two gave that iconic steamy performance of "Shallow" during the 2019 Oscars.
Both Gaga and Cooper have made it clear, however, that they are only friends. Gaga, who broke up with Christian Carino in February, told Jimmy Kimmel after her first Oscars win that there was absolutely no truth to the romance rumors.
And fans rooting for Gaga and Cooper might be disappointed once more as People magazine reported that the two haven't spent time together after award season. According to a source, Cooper has devoted all of his time to his wife, Irina Shayk, and their daughter.
"Since the awards season ended, Bradley spends every day with his family," an insider told the outlet. "Most days, Bradley and Irina take Lea out for activities together. Sometimes they just stroll on the beach. Bradley and Irina seem great."
Cooper reportedly hasn't been seen with his co-star over the past few weeks, though the insider didn't say whether or not the two kept in touch via phone. "It seems Bradley hasn’t spent any time with Lady Gaga. He has been all about his family," the source continued.
But though she hasn't been hanging out with Cooper, Gaga has reportedly been spending time with another famous star, Jeremy Renner.
A source told People back in March that Gaga and the "Avengers: Endgame" star have been growing close to each other after her split from Carino.
Though neither Gaga nor Renner confirmed any romance between them, the two do share quite a few interests.
Like Gaga, Renner is passionate about music and even wrote songs for the animated film, "Arctic Justice: Thunder Squad." He revealed in a USA Today interview last year that he has been practicing music since he was 12 years old, but he "didn’t want to do it as a business.”
