Lady Gaga says she wants to work with Tom Hanks in the future. The actress revealed this in an exclusive interview with ET after winning Palm Springs International Film Awards' Icon Award for her role in "House of Gucci" on Monday.

Before taking Hanks' name, the actress noted that there are so many actors that she would love to work with. The 35-year-old singer and actress, who worked with Al Pacino, Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons, Adam Driver and Salma Hayek in "House Of Gucci," shared that she always wanted to work with them.

"I have to say, one of my fellow Icon Award winners, Tom Hanks, I would love to work with Tom Hanks," she added. "I think he is one of the most brilliant actors of all time."

Hanks won the Icon Award at Palm Springs International Film Awards in 2014 for his movie "Sully." He also earned six Oscar nominations and won two Best Actor awards for his work in "Philadelphia" and "Forest Gump."

Gaga also spoke about the need to have more women-centric stories in films. She played Italian socialite Patrizia Reggiani, who was convicted of orchestrating the assassination of ex-husband Maurizio Gucci in "House of Gucci."

"I think I'll always tell the stories of women because I am a woman and women have so many stories to share," Gaga said. "And women are powerful, and women are vulnerable. And to be vulnerable and strong at the same time, I think is a special thing."

"I've always looked up to Meryl Streep," Gaga added. "She is the greatest female actress of all time. Her commitment to her role is unparalleled. Glenn Close as well."

"House of Gucci" was dropped on Nov. 24 in theaters. The movie was helmed by director Ridley Scott and penned by Becky Johnston. It was based on a book, titled "The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed," by Sara Gay Forden.

The movie was made on a budget of $75 million and it earned $127.5 million at the box office, according to multiple reports. The crime drama received a 6.9 rating on IMDb.

Hanks will be next seen in Elvis Presley's biopic. He will also feature in movies like "Pinocchio," "Asteroid City," "In the Garden of Beasts" and "A Man Called Ove."
