Lady Gaga’s Ex-Fiancé Taylor Kinney Is Dating Again Months After Their Breakup, Report Says
It has been a few months since “Chicago Fire” star Taylor Kinney and pop superstar Lady Gaga parted ways, and it looks like at least one of them has moved on.
Kinney has reportedly started dating again, according to Page Six. Sources close to the actor told the publication that he’s been dating a 26-year-old girl from South Philadelphia. The girl is reportedly named Alanna DiGiovanni, who works in radiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
The sources also reportedly said that Kinney and DiGiovanni went to Austin recently to catch Taylor Swift in concert. The sources added that DiGiovanni has been visiting Kinney in Chicago where he films his NBC drama series. DiGiovanni is reportedly “head over heels.” However, Kinney has yet to confirm the relationship.
While the actor appears to have moved on from their 5-year relationship, Gaga has admitted that she will not be happy when she learns that her former fiancé is already seeing someone new.
In an interview with Howard Stern on Monday, the “Perfect Illusion” singer said she will not “f****ng throw a party” when news of Kinney’s relationship gets out. Gaga also said that despite their breakup, she believes she and Kinney still love each other.
“I hate to sound like a hippie, but I kind of am one and so is he,” Gaga said. “We love each other, that’s it. It’s just about life changes, and we all go through different stages and we’re focused on different things.”
Announcing the breakup, Gaga shared a message to her fans via Instagram, saying: “Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates. Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other.”
Kinney and Gaga met on the set of the singer’s music video shoot for “You and I” in 2011.
