‘Laguna Beach’ Cast 2014: Where Are They Now 10 Years Later? [PHOTOS]
MTV’s recent decision to re-air episodes of the defunct reality-TV series “Laguna Beach” has former fans of the series asking: Where are the show's stars now? Ahead of the program's 10-year anniversary this September, here’s a look into what Kristin Cavallari, Lauren Conrad, Stephen Colletti, and the rest of the gang are up to in 2014:
Lauren Conrad
On Season 1 of “Laguna Beach,” Lauren Conrad shared her desire to become a fashion designer. Now, 10 years later, her dreams have come true. Not only has Conrad, 28, secured her own clothing line with Kohls, she has also launched a successful website and published eight novels. Her latest novel, “Infamous,” hit shelves in 2013.
As for her love life, Conrad is no longer pining for her high school crush, Stephen Colletti, but for her fiancé, William Tell, 34. The couple announced their engagement in October after two years of dating.
Kristin Cavallari
In just a few short years, Kristin Cavallari went from being a well-known party girl to a wife and mom of two. Following the end of her reign on the series finale of “The Hills” in 2010, Cavallari, 27, has been busy with her husband, NFL star Jay Cutler, and her two sons, Camden Jack, 23 months, and Jaxon Wyatt, 2 months. When she’s not busy playing mom, Cavallari lends her time to designing her Chinese Laundry shoe collection and guest-starring on shows such as “Access Hollywood Live" and “The Fabulist."
Stephen Colletti
After “Laguna Beach,” Colletti went on to star in multiple TV projects, playing Chase Adams on the scripted drama series “One Tree Hill" for four years and hosting MTV’s now defunct "Total Request Live." More recently, Colletti, 28, has been promoting his short film “Celluloid Dreams.” According to Colletti’s Instagram page, the sci-fi/drama film premiered at the Dances With Films Festival in June.
Heidi Montag
After playing a minor role in “Laguna Beach” as Conrad’s BFF, Montag went on to star in MTV’s spinoff “The Hills” for four years, marrying her co-star Spencer Pratt onscreen in 2009. After five years of marital bliss, and multiple plastic surgeries (many of which she regrets) Montag, 27, has continued her career on reality-TV. In 2011, Montag competed on VH1’s “Famous Food.” Montag and Pratt went on to star on the U.K’s “Celebrity Big Brother” in 2013. Most recently, the couple cameoed on ABC’s “Wife Swap,” Montag switching lives with Olympic Athlete Amanda Beard.
Lo Bosworth
After years of sharing her personal life with TV audiences, Lo Bosworth is now relaying her day-to-day activities on the Internet, giving cooking, fashion and beauty advice via her official site, TheLoDown, and her YouTube channel LoBosworth.
Bosworth, 27, is no longer a Cali girl since officially taking up residency in New York last summer. In June, Bosworth graduated from NYC’s International Culinary Center.
As for her friendship with Conrad, “Laguna Beach” fans can rest easy knowing that the onscreen besties are still close. Bosworth is even rumored to be serving as one of Conrad’s bridesmaids in her wedding to Tell.
Trey Phillips
Unlike his former co-stars, "Laguna Beach" lead Trey Phillips has remained out of the spotlight post reality-TV fame, graduating from Parsons School of Design in New York with degrees in fashion design and renewable energy in 2010. According to Phillips' LinkedIn profile, he currently lives in New York City and works as an associate designer at Vera Wang. (Above: Phillips poses with fellow “Laguna Beach” star Dieter Schmitz.)
Morgan Smith
Morgan Smith (formerly Olson) has settled down since her MTV days. In 2008, Smith graduated from Brigham Young University im Utah, the very college she applied to during Season 1 of “Laguna Beach.” According to Smith's Linkedin Profile, she works in Los Angeles as a digital marketing manager for Bugaboo. She is now married to Joel Smith. The couple welcomed their first child, Theo Sundstrom, on June 2. When she’s not busy being a new mom, Smith runs her lifestyle blog Smith, Her.
Talan Torriero
Talan Torriero continued his womanizing reputation after “Laguna Beach," dating former Pussycat Doll lead Nicole Scherzinger in 2006. The duo split just one year later, but, since then, Torriero has found love with Danielle Zuroski. The couple was engaged in 2013. On June 30, Torriero announced he and Zuroski had officially married.
