Lashontae Heckard Engaged To Brandon Jennings? NBA Player Posts Photo Of Girlfriend Wearing Huge Diamond On Ring Finger

Nelly and Lashontae Heckard broke up just recently, but Heckard may already be engaged to someone else. Heckard, a model and actress, met rapper Nelly 10 years ago on the video set of his song “Grillz.” She even has his nickname, “Mo,” tattooed on her lower back. "M.O." is also the title of Nelly’s seventh studio album. It is believed the pair had been together since at least January 2013.

But they split earlier this year, after Nelly was seen getting up close and personal with his ex-girlfriend of nearly 10 years, singer Ashanti. Page Six reported in February that the two were seen hanging out together at New York nightclub WIP along with P. Diddy, Rick Ross and other rappers.

“Diddy and Rick needed extra room at the table for their furs. Ashanti and Nelly cuddled up next to them,” a source says, adding that they looked “happy to be back together.” Shortly after, Nelly confirmed his single status on Instagram, posting a picture of himself along with the caption, “Hold up…!! I’m 100% single…! So what..!!"

Now, it seems Heckard is having the last laugh, though, after NBA player Brandon Jennings posted a photo of himself on Instagram alongside her, and she was wearing what looked like a large diamond on her ring finger. Along with the photo was a caption, “We don’t care. What you think!!!”

While it is unclear when they began dating, there has been some controversy surrounding their new relationship, as Heckard is close friends with G.O.O.D. rapper Teyana Taylor, who also dated Jennings, now 24, for a number of years. They were even rumored to be engaged. But Heckard looks undisturbed by the backlash, and has posted a number of pictures recently of the pair looking quite happy. Jennings even retweeted a fan who created a collage of the new couple.
