The cast and crew of “The Last Kingdom” Season 4 filmed scenes at a beach recently. The team had a lot of fun during the production, and some hilarious behind-the-scenes pictures have been shared online.

Lead cast member Alexander Dreymon (Uhtred) shared a set of behind-the-scenes snaps from the production set of the TV series on Instagram. The actor and his fellow cast member Mark Rowley took on the roles of lifeguards at the beach, and they had some fun “saving” Arnas Fedaravicius.

The first picture shows Dreymon and Rowley posing as lifeguards while dressed in full “The Last Kingdom” costumes. The two of them then went on to save Fedaravicius, who pretended that he was just taken out of the water, on the verge of drowning.

Dreymon gave the fallen actor some CPR and saved his life while Rowley expressed the intensity of the moment. The amused crewmembers in the background enjoyed the show. Fedaravicius acted as though he was able to breathe again after vomiting out the water in his system, and brought this off-script scene to an end.

Another actor who returned to “The Last Kingdom” Season 4 set was Magnus Brunn, who will be reprising his role as the antagonist Cnut. The actor recently shared a photograph of him in the makeup trailer, getting ready to play the role for the show.

Filming is currently taking place in Budapest, Hungary. Brunn recently filmed scenes with Rowley, who will be reprising his role as Uhtred’s loyal follower Finan. A behind-the-scenes picture that Brunn shared on social media shows the two actors enjoying their time together on the set.

Rowley too shared a few behind-the-scene pictures from the production set of “The Last Kingdom” Season 4, teasing the beautiful landscape at the filming location. He was joined by Sihtric actor Fedaravicius.
