'The Last Kingdom' Season 4 Will Be 'Intense,' Have 'A Lot Of Surprises'
“The Last Kingdom” Season 4 will have “a lot of surprises,” according to cast member Arnas Fedaravicius, who plays Sihtric on the show. The TV series will be airing on Netflix after it was canceled, and there will be some changes that can be expected because of this.
Fedaravicius isn’t allowed to share any specifics about what happens in Season 4, but the actor teased some details in an interview with Winter Is Coming. The actor said that the show is going to be “intense” and there are a lot of surprises in store for the fans.
“The battles are going to be a lot more detailed,” Fedaravicius said. The actor complimented the fight choreographers and the stunt team for the work they have been doing. The actor said that the stunt team and the other related crewmembers involved in the action sequences are growing along with the cast members as they work on new battles together.
According to Fedaravicius, “The Last Kingdom” Season 4 has taken storytelling to a new level. The actor teased that there will be a lot of “twists and turns” on the show, and he credited Netflix for these changes. He also complimented the cast members of the show for the “amazing acting.”
Fedaravicius revealed that the script had to be adapted after one water-related incident that happened on the set. The actor didn’t share any details about it, but invited the fans to see if they will be able to guess what that change was and what that scene was that led to the change. The only clue he gave was that the scene “included a lot of water.”
As always, the cast members have to work with horses on the show. Fedaravicius said that the shows lead Alexander Dreymon, who plays Uhtred, is the best rider. A previously released video showed the Sihric actor with Dreymon on their respective horses, having some fun. A behind-the-scenes picture of the lead star also showed the beautiful horse he will be riding on the show this year.
“The Last Kingdom” Season 4 is set to air sometime later this year. The producers are yet to announce an exact release date.
